Bariatric Advantage Wild Berry Punch Crystals Complete Multi Formula With Calcium for (RNY/VSG)

If I had some glitter, I'd be sparkling this product, you know, because it's CRYSTALS.

I recieved a 45 serving tub-o-multivitamin powder from Bariatric Advantage a while ago, but it has been sitting on my review shelf, ignored.  Honestly, I ignored it because I failed to read the label, I didn't know it was a "Complete Multivitamin."  The front label graphic wasn't like "BOOM, TAKE ME I AM AN ALL IN ONE!" and I found a typo.  This was a early label, though.

That is, until I tried the product at the Obesity Help Conference.  Wee shot glasses of multivitamins?  Why not?

"Delicious Drink Mix means far fewer pills."  (This seems to be what everyone is looking to do now, except, it appears this one has done it right?)

"3 daily servings give you a complete high-potency Multiformula with 1500mg of elemental calcium (citrate) 900 IU vitamin D3, 900mcg B12, 300mg potassium, 9mg of thiamine - and MUCH more!

Refreshing Wild Berry flavor is something you will truly enjoy taking every day."

The powder includes everything but iron, which needs to be separated out.

Opening the jar, it's a fine light pinky-white super strong berry smell.    My daughter "Dat Smells Good!"  Package directions state to add one scoop to eight ounces of water, but I added two scoops to almost 16 ounces of water.

I stirred, and what results, is a very light pink drink.  It smells like berries.  And, the taste is most definitely BERRY.  This is serious.  I know I used two servings, but I also doubled the water.  I am pleased that it's not a dilute flavor, you would NOT NEED TO DOCTOR THIS UP in order to take it.

Three small scoop servings per day suffice for your multivitamin needs for a gastric bypasser or VSG.  Bariatric Advantage also has a AGB blend of the same product for the banded kids.

It is actually sweet enough that you could use more water if you promise to get it all down, okay?  I suggest, a water bottle or shaker bottle for this product, so you can give it a quick shake while you sip, because the calcium will settle a little.  Give it a whirl, and it's good to go again, unless you're really good at chugging your water back, (That, I am not, even at 6.5 years post op, I sip...) you wouldn't notice it at all.

Mine's gone now.  I'm done, and there is no aftertaste.  I brought in a fruit punch drink mix stick, I thought I'd need to flavor the vitamin drink, but no way.  DSC_4666
