A sign.
This is why I fail at Valentines.

<3

Regardless of whether you celebrate in the commercialism of this day, I wish you a happy Valentine's Day. If you have a Valentine, if you're looking for one, or if it's not in your in plan at all. Have a good one.

Go indulge a little bit if you can.  You don't need a Valentine.  Be your own.  I really do not care for $4 Hallmark Cards that get thrown away or stinky red roses, but...

  • Go buy a single high-quality dark chocolate truffle or chocolate-dipped strawberry.  Enjoy EVERY LAST BITE of it.
  • Get your nails did.  A manicure costs $9 in some shops.
  • Go read a book.  Quiet. Please.
  • Go soak in the tub.  Lock the kids out.
  • Go to Starbucks with a book.  Alone.  Zone out.
  • Go with a friend.  Enjoy conversation.
  • Go to your favorite bath and body store (Hello, LUSH!?) and buy a BATH BOMB or your fave smelling soap.  Yes. Please.
  • Go sign up for a massage.  Even just a foot massage.  They don't have to be expensive.
  • I'd say go for a long walk with a friend, but seeing as my child just fell on her butt on the ice.  Not so much HERE, maybe where you are?  ;)
  • I swear I'm not listing items I'd like to do, not at all, why?

Enjoy yourself today.  I'm going to chase a LOOSE DOG.
