Horizontal boogie.

On the plus side, having seizures in your sleep is a bit easier than having them during your waking hours. I mean...
I think I had another just after I ate breakfast this morning, but only because I see the obvious shuffled goods around my computer which often include a glucose meter. When I seize, my right hand goes "searching" for "sugar" or a glucose meter -- so that's often my only clue that I had a seizure. I never actually get through the finger-pricking process, and most of the time I cannot get any food-stuffs open, but it's the most bizarre thing you'll ever see.
But, to me -- it's just normal. This is my new normal. A cluster of brain implosions in a short period of time with several days in between. Even my 5 year old knows it's my normal, you could tell when she talked to my neurologist. That said, she's been in my presence since I started having them.
"Mama, that's like when you have a headache." It's a lot like a migraine, the whole cyclic process of a migraine -- except I lose a few minutes of comphrehension first.
This is my new/old normal.
Of course, we're hoping to mess that up a bit by having another weeklong video EEG, I'm going in on May 4th to be wired up and watched for 7-10 days of Fun and Meals Delievered To My BED. Guys, you have no idea how exciting that is.
Oo
PS. Ironically, someone posted about "having seizures after weight loss surgery" on a big message board today, and watching people freak the hell out about it is somewhat amusing.
