Yes.  Of course.  I told you last time, I Have A Thing For Coffee.  This time, it's Fit Frappe Protein Drink Mix in Espresso Flavor.

For the purposes of this review, I mixed the Fit Frappe Powder into cold water in a shaker cup.

I noticed that the Fit Frappe looks a lot like a vanilla-based protein powder with coffee specks, and it has no protein odor.

Because I'm hardcore, I used the whole packet, for a whopping 20 grams of protein and 100 mgs of caffeine even after drinking 4285948 cups of Starbucks coffee this morning.

After adding the Fit Frappe to a shaker cup with 16 ounces of cold water, I shook it like I meant it.  I was surprised by the color of the drink -- as it was darker than I had expected from the look of the dry powder. I shook it longer than the suggested 30-60 seconds to obliterate any dry bits or chunks and poured it into a glass.

The smell -

Not! Protein!  *tiny celebration*  I am always pleased when a shake doesn't smell like whey protein, because whey smells icky.  The Fit Frappe Espresso smells like, DARK ROASTED COFFEE.  This is going well.

The texture -

Smooth without a stitch of grit.  I am pleased not to find any dry bits or lumps in my drink, although I did leave some lumps after shaking, none of them hit my tongue and make me do the "OMG OMG OMG" dance.  (Because I am sensory overload girl.)  It was perfectly fine.

The taste -

On my first sip, I said "WOW."  This is some strong espresso flavor.  That's how I like it.  I want my espresso to KICK ME IN THE FACE, and the Fit Frappe Espresso Protein Drink did JUST. THAT.

Perfect, I love you?

The Fit Frappe could very easily make a home in my repetoire of all-things-coffee. It's a meal-replacement, which means, Beth Could Use It As Breakfast!  Oh. 140 calories, 20 grams of protein in a meal replacement with caffeine.  Yes.

And since it's got a killer TASTE, I would use it as a base for other drinks and foods.  I would add a half-serving of this product to any typical vanilla or chocolate whey protein to make THAT taste better.  (Don't act like you don't know that most of them are g r o s s.)  I would also consider it for protein ice cream, or pops... or.... or.... or....
