HEYYYYY #RosieO'Donnell The View - Lap band is “antiquated” Band Bashing and Hating

Via - The View & Rosie.com

  • Chris Christie in the news: The New Jersey Governor was recently seen at a GOP fundraiser showing off his 85 lb. weight loss from last year’s lap-band surgery. Whoopi said at first he said his weight was no one’s business. Nicollethinks if Chris Christie wants to run for President his health is everyone’s business as he has to have the stamina for the job.  Nicolle is a big fan of Chris Christie and observed that even Republicans who don’t want him to become president should “want our field to be as populated as possible, ruling people in not out.”  Rosie O didn’t think Governor Christie chose the right kind of weight loss surgery.  She said lap band is “antiquated” and in half the cases it has to be removed.  She recommended people who are interested in weight loss surgery do the research and choose what works best for them.

Hey ROSIE - you gots a HATER.

I don't get it.  I just. don't. get. it.

It's a three-peat for me.

Here's some pertinent information from the OAC that you need to check out the LIVE-STREAM starting Friday --

It’s hard to believe that the Convention is practically here already – this time tomorrow we’ll be getting into the full swing of things, with record-breaking numbers of attendees. It’s fantastic to see more attendees coming from all kinds of places, including Costa Rica, Saudia Arabia and Canada! We know that although many of you are joining us for YWM2014 beginning tomorrow, some are unable to join-in for the 2014 Convention. We are live-streaming TWO valuable sessions from our educational program this year, and we encourage you to tune-in to watch!

The Biggest Loser Meltdown Moment

Did you watch this last night?

"I don't want you to go through what your dad has gone through." -Dr.

So -- you KNOW I am thinking it -- I probably yelled AT THE TV.

angry lego head

I would like to know what happened to Rob's dad after all this crying and freaking out with the shaming of the wheel-chair.  I hate when information about weight loss surgery is thrown out there to the general public like "this" without any context.

Biggest Loser, please explain.  I understand that the producers like to create 'breakthrough' moments with the contestants to get them motivated and moving forward and to tear off all excuses, but why create a stigma around weight loss surgery?

A realization - a perhaps a start - into other avenues?

I have found myself behind folks at the grocery store lately with stacks and stacks of coupons and I don't know why I haven't been using them myself, so I started clipping.  I don't get mad at having to wait behind these people -- I am usually in awe of their savings.

I can't pretend like I don't buy half of this shit because this is a "weight loss" blog because I always HAVE.

I am over that.  It's been ten and a half years, kids.  I am maintaining my weight loss without a stitch of "diet" food.

Mama buys some boxed food-stuffs, hell, I buy a lot of it.   I live on some seriously expensive boxed frozen lunches - and I COULD USE ME SOME COUPONS, AMY'S ORGANICS!
