HEYYYYY #RosieO'Donnell The View - Lap band is “antiquated” Band Bashing and Hating

Via - The View & Rosie.com

  • Chris Christie in the news: The New Jersey Governor was recently seen at a GOP fundraiser showing off his 85 lb. weight loss from last year’s lap-band surgery. Whoopi said at first he said his weight was no one’s business. Nicollethinks if Chris Christie wants to run for President his health is everyone’s business as he has to have the stamina for the job.  Nicolle is a big fan of Chris Christie and observed that even Republicans who don’t want him to become president should “want our field to be as populated as possible, ruling people in not out.”  Rosie O didn’t think Governor Christie chose the right kind of weight loss surgery.  She said lap band is “antiquated” and in half the cases it has to be removed.  She recommended people who are interested in weight loss surgery do the research and choose what works best for them.

Hey ROSIE - you gots a HATER.

She thinks you WATCH HER CHANNEL. Check it. She sells coaching for regainers because bands work.   Riiiiiight?  Heyyyyyy.

I don't get it.  I just. don't. get. it.

Jenny Craig calls Kirstie Alley Circus Fat Because That's Normal

OprahSideEye

Jenny Craig please don't use the term "CIRCUS FAT," ever - as a description of a person of size - Jenny Craig, you know better.

What is that "Circus Fat?"  Sideshow fat?  You mean 300, 400, 500 pounds?  I was there once.

4720acabinet

Sideshow performer, Victorian age.

Are we supposed to be amused by this?  Is that funny ha-ha?  Like, "Hey!  Kirstie is an elephant? Or a side-show?"

You're making yourselves look like mean-girls for the sake of bad publicity.

Miranda Lambert - "My Diet Is Better Than Gastric Bypass"

Miranda_lambert_gastric

Miranda Lambert, you're not making friends with your target market  (...Did You Notice That 70% of America is Overweight?!) with these ridiculous articles.

Via Life & Style Magazine -

The speculation all started when Miranda showed up at the AMA Awards showing off her extreme weight loss. She reportedly dropped 25 pounds from her 155-pound frame in a very short span of time, which led to rumors that she may have secretly gotten her stomach stapled.

However, Life & Style’s report claims that Miranda is now firing back against the rumors, and claiming that neither plastic surgery nor a gastric bypass had anything to do with her weight loss. Apparently, she did NOT lose 30 pounds in 8 weeks via a shortcut, but old-fashioned hard work. Eh. It’s still difficult to believe, but with celebrities, you never know – they have a ton of free time and access to the best trainers and the best food. It’s possible that Miranda just worked really, really hard to lose all that weight so quickly, even if it sounds a tad bit unbelievable.

Nobody really cares if you "got your stomach stapled," and those of us who understand "stomach stapling" know that you could not have it done at 5' 4" and 155 lbs.

Frankly, as someone who is nearly THAT size - I am a bit miffed that people would suggest bariatric surgery at a weight that I have been told is "too skinny."

This is so silly.

Graham Eliot of Masterchef Has WLS - Already has the wrong idea

La-dd-graham-elliot-at-son-of-a-gun-tequila-ta-001
"Because of my line of work, the doctor specifically thinks this is the surgery best suited for me," he says. "With gastric bypass and other surgeries, there's some ingredients you can't eat because it will cause you to get sick. This procedure will allow me to still taste and try everything.”
Not always, Graham.  You shoulda coulda talked to some people first.  Sleevers can dump!  AND DUMP LIKE A FRIGGIN' TRUCK, DUDE  Regardless, I am glad Graham is taking charge of his health and maybe he will take on a WLS Cookbook?
Maybe?  It could happen?  I will remain hopeful.
Congratulations, man.

CeeLo.  Really?  No, really?  You eat flash-frozen diet-delivery food?  Mr. Lo, you sir, are a multi-millionaire with access to personal chefs and high-end kitchens with additional access to likely The Best Healthcare in the World.  I call bullshit.
"You can change. You can change for the better. You can be a better version of yourself. I choose eDiets because it works."
No, you just ripped off Weight Watchers slogan.  This isn't about eating frozen food.

Jessica Simpson on Weight Watchers Of Course She IS!

Jessica Simpson has been very public about wanting to lose her pregnancy weight now that her baby is out in the world. And in her new Weight Watchers ad, she talks about the pressure to return to her slim, supermodel figure. (One would think the $4 million check she got from the company might alleviate some of that pressure). That the ad completely hides her body—to the point where WWTDD said they "can't tell if it's for a diet or a whitening toothpaste"—is a little weird, but can you blame her? The fat shaming she's getting in the YouTube comments is bad enough as it is.

I ain't hating, go Jess.  Us people gotta PAY Weight Watchers to gain weight.  ;)

Oh. Yes. She. Did.

Hold the Press Releases, Suz!

How do you go from not paying your taxes, failure to ship orders since 2011, closing your store, foreclosure, shutting down all communication to... THIS?

Jillian Michaels WLS is FLAT-OUT DANGEROUS.

“This is a really tricky question because there are a lot of people who feel that they couldn't have done it without these surgeries,” Jillian says.

“But I couldn’t disagree more. I don’t want to take away from the fact that there are people who have lost a good amount of weight from these surgeries, but that said, if you’re somebody who’s on the fence about it, it’s dangerous. Flat-out dangerous. Completely, 100-percent dangerous.”

Shit.  I'm on that fence.  WHAT DO I DO NOW?!

Jillian.  Must you say things like this?

How's the food?  No, really, I am curious.

Until I read this and started chanting, It's Not About Numbers, It's Not About Numbers...

"At her heaviest,  Jackson, who stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighed 180 pounds."

I assume THIS is "the highest" wrapped in a corset. *dance*  WTFWHOCARES?  Dance!

Pfffft.  Okay.  I get it, because this is the Janet I remember.  But.  Whatever.

Janet Jackson + Nutrisystem

This morning I saw Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris on an Ellen show clip, and just now I saw this,  Janet Jackson, Michael's baby sister is now the face of the Nutrisystem diet.  Its a Jackson mediapalooza lately --

Janet Jackson is bringing her weight loss to the limelight as the new face of Nutrisystem and a book chronicling her shifting weight journey over the years.

In her new book, "True You: A Journey to Finding and Loving Yourself," 45-year-old Jackson explores weight loss and gain in a candid account using her own experiences.

Well there's that, we know what happens now.

PR Newswire -

"Dieting never worked for me, counting calories never worked for me, and denying myself the foods I love never worked for me. I needed a better plan, and I found it with Nutrisystem," shares Ms. Jackson. "With Nutrisystem I am seeing results already, and I am so impressed by both the thought and the nutritional science behind the program. There are millions of women like me who want to be successful but don't have the tools to do it on their own.  I hope I can help inspire them."
